"Under the Surface". Found objects on a mannequin (includes adjustable stand). This piece is my autobiographical representation based on Margaret Atwood's, "This is a Photograph of Me", works I had studied in university. My interpretation of her poem deeply resonates with me. Thus, I created a form that symbolically describes me with found objects on the surface that are scars of many untold stories held within. 24 inches x 12 inches x 9 inches. Created 2021.
